The Republican U.S. Senate primary in Ohio may be getting a little more crowded.
Conservative radio and television commentator Geraldo Rivera tweeted Wednesday he is considering entering the race. Rivera lives in Shaker Heights.
Although has said he considers former President Donald Trump a personal friend, Rivera says he condemns Trumps actions leading up to President Biden's inaguration. Rivera says he's planning a listening tour of Ohio communities, and believes he can unify the GOP and attract new members, especially minorities.
Former Ohio Secretary of State Josh Mandel and former state party head Jane Timken have announced their candidacies. No Democrats have formally entered the race.
