Judge Temporarily Blocks State's New Red Light Camera Law

A Montgomery County judge has issued a temporary restraining order that blocks the state from enforcing its new traffic enforcement camera law.

The measure takes funding away from communities that use camera systems.  Dayton city officials are suing over the law, saying cameras have reduced crashes and deaths.  Critics, including some lawmakers, call them municipal money-grabs.
