A Whitehall man is the latest Ohioan to face charges in the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
39-year old Troy Faulkner was identified thru video footage and a photo posted on Facebook, breaking and then kicking in a window. He was wearing a coat emblazoned with "Faulkner Painting" and bearing his business phone number.
Faulkner faces several charges inculding violent entry or disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and destruction of government property.
He appeared in federal court in Columbus this afternoon. U.S. Magistrate Judge Chelsey Vascura ordered Faulkner remain in federal custody over the weekend. A detention hearing is scheduled for Monday.
