Driver In Crash That Killed Columbus Official, OSU Student Gets 13 Year Prison Sentence

Ohio Public Radio

A Whitehall man will serve 13 years in prison for causing a 2014 crash in downtown Columbus that killed two pedestrians. Prosecutors say 63-year-old Terrance Trent recklessly drove his pickup truck into a Groveport-Madison school bus near Broad and High Streets, which then hit 21-year-old Stephanie Fibelkorn and 58-year-old Columbus city official Bill Lewis. Trent said he panicked because his girlfriend, Mamie Adams, was hitting him as he drove.
