Yost: Closed Local Charter School Owes State Thousands Of Dollars

State Auditor David Yost says a closed Columbus charter school failed to repay the state nearly 341 thousand dollars in educational support funding. Opeators of FCI Academy closed the Mock Road building in August 2015 because of mismanagement. Yost says the state will likely be unable to recover the money.

Yost notes FCI's sponsor, the Toledo-based Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West, also sponsors the troubled Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow.
