Major League Soccer and the Columbus Crew SC have relased a joint statement responding to the lawsuit filed by Ohio’s attorney general and the city to stop the team's planned move to Austin, Texas.
They say they’re disappointed litigation was chosen rather than “constructive discussions” about a “legitimate plan” to make the team viable. City officials have talked with owner Anthony Precourt in the recent past. The two say they are still willing to talk.
