County To Put New Assistance Services Office On CSCC Campus

Franklin County officials have reached an agreement with Columbus State Community College to open a new assistance services office on campus.

County Commissioners Tuesday approved a plan to put a new case management unit in the college's student center to help low-income people obtain food and cash assistance as well as eligibility services. County leaders hope putting case managers an the school will provide easier access for the poor and not disrupt student studies.
