Black College Student Settles Lawsuit Against 'Troll' Encouraged By Local Nazi Website Publisher

torchantifa.org

An internet troll who harassed a black college student with racist messages on social media has reached a settlement requiring him to get sensitivity training, publicly apologize and renounce white supremacy.

The settlement resolves Taylor Dumpson's claims against one of the defendants she sued in April over an online harassment campaign orchestrated by Andrew Anglin, the publisher of the Worthington-based neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer. She became the first black woman to serve as American University's student government president. Her suit says Anglin directed his readers to cyberbully her. The settlement  is with Evan McCarty, who posted online under the pseudonym “Byron de la Vandal".
