Grand Jury Declines To Indict Five Columbus SWAT Officers In Man's Fatal Shooting

A Franklin County grand jury has declined to indict five Columbus police SWAT officers in a fatal shooting during a standoff last May.

Prosecutors say 30-year-old Corey Cordova threatened officers Howard Brenner, Kenneth Dale, Timothy Halbakken, Troy Palmer and Randolph Rich at a West State Street home.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
