Local Coroner Reports Eight Drug Overdose Deaths In 24 Hour Period

The Franklin County Coroner's office is reporting another spike in drug overdose deaths.

Eight people died of overdoses during a 24-hour period that ended Monday. Four were in Whitehall, and three were in one house on Powell Avenue. The office urges addicts to get treatment.
