City Attorney's Office Creates Text Service For Domestic Violence Victims Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

usnews.com

The Columbus City Attorney's office has created a text message service for domestic violence victims during the COVID-19 pandemic.

City Attorney Zach Klein says victims may send a text message to 614-653-8075, where they will be connected with a victim advocate. Victims are asked to provide a name, a safe time to communicate and an email or phone number for contact purposes:

Klein says residents in immediate danger should call or text 911.
