A new transitional home for women escaping sex trafficking, domestic violence and drug addiction is scheduled to open March 29th on Columbus' west side.
Officials with the organization called “Reaching for the Shining Starz”say the home will provide stable, secure housing, aftercare and wrap-around services. To become a resident, women will go through a screening process and a mental health assessment.
