Manager Killed, Employee Wounded In Shooting At Columbus Eatery

Columbus police say a shooting Friday morning at a fast food restaurant on West Broad Street has left the manager dead and an employee wounded. Authorities say 30-year-old Amanda Rush died at the scene, while 57-year-old Timothy Mathies remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Investigators say the suspect, 29-year-old Mark Reynolds, had attempted a robbery nearby prior to this morning's shooting. Police say they arrested Reynolds shortly after he fled the scene at a nearby gas station. He's been charged with murder.
