Body camera footage shows Columbus police officers handcuffing and tazing a U.S. Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms Agent in July, an incident that prompted the agent to file a lawsuit. The footage shows the officer who arrived first on the scene telling ATF agent James Burk to put his hands up and then pulling his gun. Burk repeatedly identified himself as a federal agent, and offered to show his badge, but the cop tells him to keep his hands in the air. Another officer who arrived on the scene also pointed his gun at Burk. Instead of checking his badge, the officers attempted to handcuff him. Burk has filed an excessive use of force lawsuit.
