U.S. Attorney Dave DeVillers says authorities are doing "everything in their power" to reach a fair conclusion in the civil rights case of Casey Goodson Junior, who was shot and killed by a Franklin County Sheriff's deputy earlier this month. The official report on the shooting differs from what witnesses describe. DeVillers says in a statement there is a "joint criminal civil rights investigation" being conducted by local, state and federal authorities. He is asking the public for patience.
