In this edition of Grow Global, we talk about how educators can be more inclusive with Matthew Stuart, the Head of School at Caedmon.
Matthew Stuart has been teaching in NYC independent schools since 1985. He began his career as the Middle School Drama teacher at the Hewitt School, and prior to becoming the Head of School at Caedmon, he also worked at the Town School, was the Middle School Director at National Cathedral School in Washington DC, and was the Head of the Performing Arts at the Spence School. Mr. Stuart was the Co-Director of the Spence Teaching Institutes, which focused on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Since 2005, he has also been an adjunct teacher at the ISM (Independent School Management) Summer Institute.
