The Columbus Firefighters union has endorsed city council president Andy Ginther's mayoral bid. The union representing 15 hundred firefighters has already donated 25 thousand dollars to Ginther's campaign. The Columbus Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Ginther's rival, Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott, last week. The two Democrats are running in a four-way nonpartisan primary in May against fellow Democrat James Ragland, and Republican Terry Boyd.
