The City of Columbus has lifted its nitrate tap water advisory for people served by the Dublin Road water plant. The advisory was issued last week after heavy rain washed farm fertilizers into the Scioto River watershed. Division of Water officials say most recent water testing results show nitrate levels below the acceptable limit. The division also says another advisory is unlikely this summer, because the rain has washed the nitrates off of farm fields. The advisory affected people in downtown and on the west side.
