From War Room to Board Room: Facing Uncertainty with VUCA

It’s hard enough to lead in steady times. But with pandemics, climate change, war, and more, how do you set a path for your organization’s future when the world’s future is so unclear? Chris Nolan is clearing the air. In his new book and documentary, It’s VUCA!, Chris shows how a military system of thinking and analysis developed in 1987 applies to any civilian organization trying to navigate today’s chaos. VUCA stands for Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous. That may seem daunting, but Chris’ research reveals that – by understanding the VUCA principles – you can lead your team to a future that’s bright instead of bleak.
