Dems Propose Third Consecutive State Sales Tax Holiday

State lawmakers have proposed for a third straight year a three-day sales tax break for back-to-school shoppers during the first weekend in August.  Democratic State Representatives John Patterson and Brigid Kelly say their measure would allow Ohio to join 17 other states that offer the break to support local businesses and encourage consumer spending. The Ohio Senate has approved similar legislation.
